Description
This granary and cartshed, located approximately 100 meters east of Lower Oversley Lodge, dates from the late 18th century. The building features a brick ground floor and an upper floor constructed of regularly coursed lias stone, with brick quoins on the left side. It has a tiled roof with a stone-coped gable and a kneeler on the right, along with a small brick chimney. The structure consists of four bays, each with basket arches. The first floor has openings above the first two bays on the left side, and there is an external stone staircase on the left return side. The granary includes a plank door topped by a brick segmental arch, and the roof is half-hipped on the left. Inside, there is a trenched purlin roof supported by substantial timbers, and the granary floor is made of wide boards.
