HASELOR WALCOTE SP15NW (South side) 7/123 Shakespeare Cottage 11/12/69 (Formerly listed as Shakesperian House)

GV II

House. C17; restored, partly rebuilt and extended late C20. Timber framed with brick infill. C20 tile roof, brick ridge stacks. L-plan, extended to U-plan. 2 storeys ,and one storey and attic; one-window range, but with 3 ground floor windows. Entrance in riqht return side has C20 half-glazed door and late C19 trellis porch. C19 leaded-light casements, 2 with simple wooden hoods. Right return side underbuilt in brick; gable has plastered infill. Timber framed range beyond has small lies projection, probably a bread oven. Left return side rebuilt in brick. Shine exposed framing to rear. Interior not inspected.
