Description

Cider Mill Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Haselor Walcote, with alterations in the late 20th century and an addition on the left side using reclaimed timbers. The cottage is timber-framed with lath and plaster, and has plastered infill. It features an old tile roof, some 20th-century tiles, a brick ridge stack, and a 20th-century end stack. Originally a 2-unit plan, it was extended to 3 units. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a 3-window front. A late 20th-century door with a hood is located in the addition, and a window replaces a former door opening. The windows are late 20th-century casements with glazing bars, and there are dormers. The right-hand return side has a framed gable underbuilt in whitewashed brick. The interior remains uninspected.
