Description
Paul Pry Cottage, formerly known as Cider Mill Farm Cottage, is a cottage dating from the 17th century with late 20th-century additions. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, and the left return side is built entirely in whitewashed brick. The cottage has a 20th-century tile roof and a brick ridge stack. It has a two-unit plan that has been extended to form an L-shape, with a gable facing the road. The building is one storey high with an attic and has a one-window range, excluding the addition. The entrance is located in the 20th-century wing. Windows include 19th and 20th-century casements, some of which have glazing bars, and there are 20th-century dormers. On the left return side, there is a ground floor window set under a segmental arch. Inside, the cottage features exposed timber framing and chamfered ceiling beams, as well as an inglenook fireplace.
