Description
This building is a barn, stable, and loosebox located approximately 30 meters west of College Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th to 18th century and is constructed of coursed ironstone. The wood shingle roof features a coped gable parapet on the left side facing the road. The structure consists of eight bays, with the stable and loosebox on the left side, both having stable doors. There is a vent and double doors in the fifth bay, behind which a large window has been inserted. To the left, a mid-20th century half-glazed door with a wood lintel has been added, and painted wood lintels are present throughout. The left return side includes a pitch door. Inside, the loosebox features a hayrack, while the barn contains imported 19th-century panelling and collar and tie beam trusses. This building is included for its group value.
