Description
This stable and barn, dating from the 17th century, is located approximately 10 meters north of Haydon Way Farmhouse. The structure is timber framed, with the stable featuring brick infill and some weatherboarding, while the barn is entirely weatherboarded. It has an old tiled roof and is constructed as a single build. The stable has a double plan layout, including a stable door and the remnants of a window, with a hayloft door situated above. The front is partly obscured by a 19th-century outshut. The left return side displays jowled posts. Inside, there is a trough and the remains of two hayracks. The barn consists of three bays and has central plank doors. The interior also features jowled posts and a queen strut roof.
