Description
Haydon Way Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century for the back range and the mid-19th century for the front range. The back range is timber framed with square framing and brick infill, sitting on a high brick plinth, while the right end is made of 19th-century brick. The front range is constructed of brick and features a brick dentil cornice. The roofs, added in the late 20th century, are covered with concrete tiles and have brick ridge and end stacks. The building consists of two parallel ranges. The back range is two storeys high with a four-window range. The entrance is located in a single-storey 19th-century wing, which has a 20th-century half-glazed door. The windows include 19th and 20th-century casements with glazing bars, and there is a canted bay window on the ground floor. The front range is two storeys with an attic and has a three-window range. It features a symmetrical central entrance with a glazed porch and a half-glazed door, along with wood casements set under segmental brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
