Description
The Old Estate Office is a 17th-century farm building that has been converted into a house. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a tiled roof with brick ridge stacks. The building has a courtyard plan, with a separate structure not included in the listing. It is a single-storey property with a front that has a four-window range. The entrance includes a 20th-century plank door, while the windows are metal casements with glazing bars. On the right side, there is an open timber porch with 20th-century double leaf doors at the left end and a recessed door at the right end. The courtyard side is mostly glazed and has two 19th-century segmental-headed iron windows with glazing bars and centre-hung lights. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have exposed timber framing and may have been used as a village room in the past, according to the Victoria County History of Warwickshire.
