Description

GRANDBOROUGH WOOLSCOTT SP46NE 6/85 Woolscott Manor - II House. Mid C18 with later additions and alterations. Flemish bond brick. C20 tile roofs; stone coped gable parapets; rendered ridge and end stacks. U-plan with wings to rear. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Cross wing on right. Porch in angle has 6-panelled door. 2-window main range. 3-light wood mullioned and transomed windows. Horizontal glazing bar and brick flat arches throughout. Wing has large 4-pane sash to ground floor. One-storey-and-attic left range has cross window. Hipped dormer has 2-light casement. Irregular left return side has carriage arch with wood lintel. Right return side is a 2-window range. Ground floor has canted bay on right and 4-pane sashes. 2 hipped 2-light roof dormers. Lower one storey and attic range has 3-light casement. 0utshut to right has 2-light casement; left return side has half-glazed door. Interior not inspected.
