Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 18th/early 19th century farmhouse situated on Willoughby Brooks Close. It is constructed in Flemish bond brick with string course bands and a dentil cornice, featuring old tile roofs and brick end stacks. The building is arranged in an L-shape, with a wing extending to the rear. It is three storeys high and has a three-window front. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with glazed Gothic arched upper panels and an overlight with Gothic glazing, set within a moulded wooden surround, and is accessed via an open porch. A mid/late 19th century canted bay window is located to the left, with a moulded cornice and French windows with horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor windows are 16-pane sashes with brick segmental arches. The second floor has a three-light and a central two-light casement window, both with horizontal glazing bars. The right return side has a four-panelled door leading to the irregular wing, and a three-light wood mullioned and transomed window with glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
