Description

WOLFHAMPCOTE SAWBRIDGE SP56NW 7/132 The Farmhouse and attached farm building II Farmhouse and attached farmbuilding. C17/C18; front possibly rebuilt C18/C19. Flemish bond brick. Some large timber framing with brick infill to rear. Old tile roof; brick ridge and internal stacks. L-plan with cross wings and wing on right to rear. One storey and attic; right cross wing 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. Centre has half-glazed 4-panelled door on left. 3-light C19 casement. Gabled half-dormers have fixed 2-light windows. Glazing bars. Wings have 3-light and 2-light C20 metal casements with wood lintels inserted. Right wing has blocked attic window. Most openings have brick segmental arches. Part of left return side and right return side rebuilt in C20 brick. Interior not inspected. Farm building attached to right corner. Timber framed: small framing with brick infill, and brick. Shallow tile roof, hipped on left. Central cart entrance.
