Description

The Farmhouse and attached farm building is a structure dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with the front possibly rebuilt in the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick, with some large timber framing and brick infill at the rear. The building features an old tile roof with a brick ridge and internal stacks. It has an L-plan layout with cross wings, and a wing on the right extending to the rear. The farmhouse is one storey and attic, while the right cross wing is two storeys and attic, presenting a four-window range. The centre of the façade has a half-glazed four-panelled door on the left, accompanied by a three-light 19th-century casement window. Gabled half-dormers contain fixed two-light windows with glazing bars. The wings feature three-light and two-light 20th-century metal casements with wood lintels. The right wing has a blocked attic window, and most openings are topped with brick segmental arches. Parts of the left and right return sides have been rebuilt in 20th-century brick. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the right corner is the farm building, which is timber framed with small framing and brick infill, as well as brick sections. It has a shallow tile roof that is hipped on the left and includes a central cart entrance.
