Description

ARLEY TAMWORTH ROAD SP28NE (South-west side) 7/11 Slowley Green Farmhouse 25/03/86 GV II Farmhouse. Early C17 and mid/late C18. Whitewashed rendered brick. Plain-tile roofs; main range has panelled brick ridge stack. L-plan with C17 wing projecting forward to right. 2 storeys and attic. C18 baffle-entry 4-window main range has C20 gabled glazed porch to third bay; 2-light casement above. 3-light casements throughout. Casements have horizontal glazing bars, with cambered arches to ground floor and painted wood lintels to first floor. Brick dog-tooth cornice. Long C17 wing has C18 front wall with large quoins and moulded coped gable parapet with kneelers. 3-light casements similar to C18 range. Left return side has blocked 2-light stone mullioned window on left; first floor has 2 similar windows; right window is blocked. Right return side has casements. Interior not inspected.
