Description
Dandys Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with later 17th-century additions. It features a timber-framed structure that is rendered, along with coursed and squared sandstone on the rear wing added in the later 17th century. The building has plain-tiled roofs of two different heights and a chimney stack made of coursed sandstone with four flues located at the junction of the front and rear sections. The farmhouse is designed in a T-plan, with the front range consisting of two storeys and three 20th-century flush frame casements. There is a lobby-entry doorway that is accompanied by a 19th-century red brick gabled porch. The interior has not been inspected.
