Description
Lower Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with 18th century and later alterations. The building is constructed of brick and has lined render, likely over timber-framing, on the first floor to the left and center. It features an old plain-tile roof that is hipped to the right, with a brick end stack on the left and a truncated lateral stack also on the left. There is a 19th century brick lateral stack on the right. The farmhouse is two stories high and has a four-window range. To the right of center, there is a sash door. The windows have irregular fenestration, including some 18th century casements with leaded lights on the first floor. At the rear, there is 17th century timber-framing in the cross-wing on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
