Description
The Old Vicarage Cottage is a 17th-century house located in West Hendred. It features a 20th-century brick plinth and irregular large timber framing with painted brick infill on the ground floor, while the upper part is rendered. The cottage has a thatched roof that is half-hipped on the left side and hipped on the right side, with a brick ridge stack at the center and an end stack on the right. It has a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The entrance is a plank door located at the center, flanked by three-light casements with leaded lights on the ground floor. There are also two eyebrow dormers, each with three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected. To the right, there is a weather-boarded addition under a thatched roof.
