Description
Mesopotamia Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Watery Lane in Clifton Hampden. It features large timber framing with rendered infill, and there has been 20th-century brick rebuilding on the right side. The cottage has a hipped thatch roof with a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. It is a single-storey building with an attic and has a four-window range that runs at right angles to the lane. There is a plank door situated to the right of the center, and the windows have irregular fenestration with leaded casements. Additionally, there are two swept dormers with a plain-tile apron from the mid-20th century in the center. The interior has not been inspected.
