Description
The Shepherd's Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Watery Lane in Sparsholt. It features timber framing with square framing and diagonal braces, topped by a thatched roof and brick stacks. The cottage has a three-unit plan and is one and a half stories tall, with a four-window range. The entrance includes a 20th-century door, while the windows consist of five 18th-century two-light leaded casements, one 18th-century one-light leaded casement, and three 20th-century casements. The roof is half-hipped and has two ridge stacks. The interior has not been inspected, and there is a 20th-century weatherboarded lean-to attached to the right gable wall.
