Description

Bonds Cottage is a 17th-century house located on Grove Main Street. It features a painted brick plinth and small timber-framing with rendered and painted-brick infill. The roof is thatched and has a half-hipped design, with an 18th-century grey brick stack that has red brick dressings at the ridge. The cottage is single storey with an attic, comprising five bays and a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door at the center and 20th-century plate-glass casements in all openings. The roof has three swept dormers, and there is a queen post roof-truss at the right return gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
