Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century house located on the north side of The Green in Grove. It features a rendered plinth with corrugated iron sheeting over timber framing and a 20th-century concrete-tile roof. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. On the ground floor, there is a sash door to the right of the center, accompanied by a 20th-century open porch. To the left, there is a part-glazed door, also from the 20th century, with another open porch. The right side has a two-light casement window, while a single-light casement is positioned to the left of the center. On the first floor, there are two three-light casements. Inside, the ground floor features chamfered spine beams with round end-stops.
