Description
Nos. 3 and 4 are a house that has been divided into two dwellings. The building dates from the 17th century, with a 19th-century front. It features a brick plinth and roughcast walls, likely built on brick, with brick dressings. The roof is made of old plain tiles, hipped to the right and half-hipped to the left, with a brick ridge stack in the center and end stacks. The original layout was probably a four-unit lobby-entry plan. The building is two stories high and has a four-window range. There is a plank door to the left of center. The 19th-century windows are primarily two-light wood mullion windows, with three-light wood mullion windows on the ground floor to the left and right of center. The ground floor windows feature segmental-pointed relieving arches. The interiors have not been inspected but are noted to include an open fireplace on the ground floor to the left of center.
