Description
Nos. 1 and 2 are a house that has been converted into two dwellings, dating from the 17th century with later alterations. The building features a brick and stone plinth, large timber framing with brick infill, and an old plain-tile roof. There is a brick end stack on the right and a ridge stack to the right of the center. A 20th-century internal stack is present in the cross-wing to the left and in the catslide roof to the right. The layout consists of a two-unit plan with a cross-wing on the left and a catslide roof on the right. The building is two stories high, with three bays and two windows. A plank door is located to the right of center, and all openings have three-light wood casements. The gable end of the cross-wing features a queen-post roof truss. The interior has not been inspected.
