KINGSBURY Lindridge Barn and Stable at SP 2576 9490

Field barn, and stable. C18. Coursed sandstone rubble, with small C19 brick addition. Old and C20 plain-tile roof. 3-bay barn, with one-bay stable on left Barn has large central doorway, to rear bricked up C20 with plank door inserted. Walls have vents. Lean-to addition across stable on left has catslide roof. Left return side of stable has slightly altered doorway, and pitch door above. Right return side has pitch door, and apex of gable rebuilt in brick. Queen strut roof has subsidiary struts, with lower through purlins and upper butt purlins; part of ridge replaced C20.
