Description
This is a barn located approximately 10 meters southeast of The Leys Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The barn is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone and features a tiled roof with a chamfered eaves band and verge parapets. It has a small plan on two levels, set into the bank on the east side, which creates a low single-storey front on that side. The west side includes two large openings from the 20th century, and there is a blocked door at loft level on the north side. The barn is part of a group with the farmhouse and another barn, situated prominently by the roadside, and is included for its group value.
