Description

This barn, located approximately 10 meters south of Meadow Place Farmhouse, dates from the 17th century and has some alterations from the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone, topped with a tiled roof featuring verge parapets supported by corbelled kneelers. The barn has a two-level plan, with a hay loft situated above the byre. On the west side, there are two original entrances with heavy lintels on the right, although one is now blocked. There are also four window openings, one of which is blocked, located to the left and between the doors. The barn is included for its group value, as it encloses a yard space.
