Description
The Sea Lion Inn is an inn, likely built for that purpose, dated 1836 with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed dressed and squared stone of fine quality, featuring rusticated ashlar quoins and a raised band at the first-floor level. The roof is tiled with a cavetto eaves band and has brick stacks at the ends. The building has a symmetrical two-storey front with three windows, which are large-pane sashes. The central window has a round arch with pilaster sides and a keystone above the central entrance. The entrance is framed by a rusticated quoin surround and features a 20th-century 'Spanish' panelled door.
