Description

Twist Intake is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring stone window heads and dressings, and has a tiled roof with verge parapets that have pitched stone copings and end stacks. The building has three storeys and a two-window front, with three-light small-pane casements that are lower on the top storey. The wedged heads of the windows have raised central keystones. There is a central entrance that has a quoin surround and an eight-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. Twist Intake is a major landmark in the village and is notably positioned next to No. 4.
