Description

The Wesleyan Chapel is a non-conformist chapel built in 1838. It features a small square plan and is constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof that has a cogged eaves band. The front is symmetrical and single-storey, with two windows. It has a plinth and cruciform casements with painted wedged heads. The central entrance is topped with a hood and has double panelled doors. Above the entrance, there is a cast iron plaque inscribed with "WESLEYAN CHAPEL/ERECTED/A.D. 1838".
