Description

New House Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with minor alterations from the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone of ashlar quality, featuring a raised band at the first floor cill level and a plinth. The roof is tiled with verge parapets that have pitched copings, and there are brick stacks at the ends and a ridge stack to the left of center. The front of the building is two stories high and has a symmetrical arrangement of windows, consisting of three, four, and three-light block mullioned small-pane windows. The center lights of the four-light windows have glazing bar sashes, with the entrance located to the right of center, featuring a late 19th-century part-glazed door.
