Description
This is a cowhouse built in the 18th century, located approximately 30 yards north-east of Shaw's Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a plain tile roof with coped verges. The building is oriented north-east to south-west and has lean-to extensions at the rear. It stands two storeys high and consists of six bays. There are two windows on the left and four doorways on the right, with the second and fourth doors from the left being blocked and fitted with inserted windows. Additionally, there are three square loft openings.
