Description
Church Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a plain tile roof featuring coped verges, brick ridge stacks, and integral end stacks. The building has a T-shaped plan, with the main range aligned east-west and facing south, and two parallel rear wings aligned north-south. It stands two storeys high with coved eaves and consists of three bays, each with three-light chamfered mullioned windows. There is a door located to the right of the centre. On the north elevation, there are projecting gabled wings at the centre, which include a door with a raised pilaster surround and a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars, along with a large window to the right. There is also a cart shed entrance set back to the right. At the time of the resurvey in 1985, Church Farmhouse was unoccupied and in a neglected condition.
