Description

This is a milepost, possibly from the early 20th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with an inclined head that is set about 500 millimeters above the ground. The front of the milepost is inscribed with the name "KINGSLEY." The left side features the inscriptions "HANLEY 9/STOKE 10/NEWCASTLE 11 1/2," while the right side displays "FROGHALL 1/2/ASHBOURNE 12 1/4."
