Description

Oaken Manor Barn, located approximately 50 yards east of Oaken Manor, is a barn dating from the 17th century with later rebuilding. It features coursed rubble that supports an earlier timber frame and is topped with a clay tile roof. The barn has a four-bay range and roughly central double-leaved doors. The walls consist of large, roughly squared blocks to the right of the doors, while the left side is made of much smaller rubble, which is perforated by six small loops. Inside, the barn boasts good quality 17th-century roof trusses.
