Description

The Manor House is an early 19th century house located off Oaken Lane in Codsall. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof, overhanging eaves, and brick stacks. The south-west elevation has two storeys and four windows, with a first-floor sill band. The windows are 18-pane glazing bar sashes, almost a full storey in height, each supported by fluted console brackets and a wooden, flat-topped hood. Two French windows are positioned on the right-hand side. The south-east elevation presents two bays with glazing bar sashes featuring fluted console brackets supporting flat-topped hoods. A small, later first-floor window is situated to the right of centre. A 20th-century glazed door, fitted with an oblong fanlight, is present, and is approached via a Corinthian portico with columns, pilasters, and a full entablature, flanked by slim windows on both sides.
