Description
Nos. 35 and 37 Market Street is a shop and office building dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of stucco with a tile roof and brick stacks. The building has three storeys and features a four-window range. There are sill and lintel bands on both upper floors, along with a cornice at the top. The ground floor, which has been altered in the late 20th century, includes an entrance on the left end with a glazed door. The first floor has windows with 12-pane sashes, while the second floor features windows with sills and 6-pane sashes. Additionally, there is a cross-axial stack and an end stack. At the rear, the building has two gabled wings and a late 20th-century addition.
