Description
Nos. 4 and 5 Bridge Street is a house that has been converted into offices, with origins dating from the 17th century to the 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof, with a stack likely located at the rear. It stands three storeys tall and possibly has a cellar. The façade has a three-window range with 19th-century 6/6 sash windows set beneath segmental arches, along with a storey band and additional 6/6 sashes. There is a 20th-century shop front, and a separate entrance is located to the left. Inside, the second floor reveals exposed 18th-century timber framing, while the first floor showcases mutilated 17th-century framing.
