Description
No. 13 King Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a Welsh slate roof, with a brick stack at one end. The building stands three storeys high and includes a cellar. It has a two-window range, with 8/8 sash windows beneath gauged brick flat arches that have keyblocks, and 4/8 sash windows above. The eaves are adorned with brick modillions. The shop front is from the 20th century, and there is an entrance to the upper floor on the right side. Inside, there is a staircase from the 19th or 20th century, and the first floor reveals exposed timber-framing that likely dates from the 19th century.
