Description
This is a milepost located on Burton Road in Tutbury, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted cast iron and has a triangular shape with an inclined head. The back plate is raised and features an inscription that reads "LONDON/120/MILES." The inclined head is inscribed with "ROLLESTON/PARISH," while the left side indicates "TUTBURY/1½/MILES" and the right side shows "BURTON/3/MILES."
