Description
Dower House is a house built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a hipped tile roof, with side stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-window front. There is a painted raised band at the first floor level, and the windows are sixteen-pane glazing bar sashes, with twelve panes in the centre window located under a dormer that has a pediment with a lunette. On the ground floor, there are three-sided bays on either side, and a central entrance that is sheltered by a lean-to hood, featuring a 20th-century part-glazed door with an overlight. To the right, there is an attached wing that has two tripartite sashes on the first floor.
