Description
This is a milepost dating from the mid-19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top and backplate. The inscriptions are located on the top and sides of the milepost. The top reads "BURBAGE PARISH," the left side states "LUTTERWORTH/8/MILES/LONDON 97," and the right side indicates "HINCKLEY 3 MILES."
