Description

Milestone located at Smockington Junction, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of ashlar stone and has a triangular section with a bevelled top. The top is inscribed with 'London 106 miles', while the sides read 'Lutterw. 7 miles' and 'Hinckley 4 miles'.
