Description

Milestone from the early 19th century, made of ashlar stone. It is tall and shaped like a "headstone" with a semi-circular top. The inscription on the milestone reads: "TO/ LONDON/ 146 Miles/ PRESTEIGN 8/ LEOMINSTER 6/ LUDLOW 10/ TENBURY 13/ HEREFORD 19/ ABERYSTWYTH/ 75".
