The lychgate to the Church of St. Nicholas is a structure from the mid to late 19th century, designed by Butterfield. It features a timber frame and a hipped roof covered with plain tiles. The main gateway is located on the left side, while a smaller arched gateway is on the right. The posts that support the gateways have tension braces that extend to the sills and reach up to the wall plate.
