Description
The lychgate to the churchyard of the Church of St Nicholas is likely from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is constructed from local flint rubble and timber, topped with a slate roof that has gable ends. The structure features stone rubble coped walls that support four vertical timber posts with curved struts, which hold up the slate roof. At the top of the roof, there is an ornamental iron finial. The lychgate includes a pair of timber gates that have diagonal boarding and curved struts.
