Description

Nos 5 and 6 on The Green are a pair of cottages dating from around the 17th century. They have been significantly altered and are faced with red brick from the mid-19th century. Number 6 has recently been cement rendered, while the timber frame is reinforced at the rear. The cottages have a plain tile roof with gabled ends and are one storey high with an attic. There are four windows, with modern four-gabled dormers on Number 6. Inside, the cottages feature chamfered ceiling beams.
