Description

This is a sandstone rubble road bridge, dating from around the 18th century or earlier, located over the River Meese, north-north-west of the Church of All Saints. The bridge features two segmental arches with a cut-water between them and a parapet above. It has been widened in brick on the east side and includes an iron lock mechanism for the mill pool associated with a former mill that has since been demolished.
