Description

Sutherland Forge is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage located in Tibberton. The exterior walls are a mix of plastered and painted brick infill panels. It has a steeply pitched roof covered with plain tiles, featuring gabled ends. The building is one storey high with an attic. Originally, it had two windows across the front, but now features modern casements and a large modern bay window to the left. Two large dormers have oversailing gables and old four-light casement windows. A modern central porch has been added. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is centrally located. A timber-framed extension, with a lower roofline, is attached to the left.
