Description

Cherrington Grange is a timber-framed cottage built around the 17th century and later faced in brick, which is now painted. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. Originally, it had two windows, and now features two large, gabled dormers dating from the 19th century. The windows are 3-light casements set in segmental arched openings. A central doorcase with pilasters and an entablature is present, along with a late 19th-century open wooden porch. A central brick stack rises from the roof. A 19th-century wing extends from the rear of the cottage.
