Description

Longacre is a small, restored timber-framed cottage dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. The north-east end is constructed of painted sandstone rubble. The cottage has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled and hipped ends. It is a single storey with an attic, featuring a three-window front. The windows are small, modern casements with leaded panes, and there are two gabled dormers. A cruck truss is exposed in the gable end, and the infill panels are plastered.
