Description
Stanford Bridge is a road bridge dating from the early to mid-19th century, constructed from pink sandstone ashlar over the River Meese. The bridge features three rusticated round arches, each with a keyblock. Cutwaters are present, incorporating pilasters above the arches. A string course runs along the bridge, and the parapet is splayed outwards at the ends. Much of the parapet coping is missing.
