Description

Nos 1 and 3 on The Green are a pair of cottages dating from the early 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring long straw thatch roofing and a part weather boarded gable. The cottages have a central ridge stack and are one storey high with an attic. There is one dormer window with a horizontal sliding sash and three similar windows on the ground floor. The entrances are through two boarded doors. Inside, the cottages contain two sealed hearths.
